Cookie Policy — UKSalarySacrificeCalculator.co.uk

This site uses a small number of cookies. This policy explains what they are, why they are used, and how you can control them.

Essential cookies

cookie_consent — first-party, persistent (until cleared). Stores your cookie preference (accepted or declined) so we do not ask again on every visit. Nothing you enter into a calculator is stored; calculations run in your browser.

Analytics cookies (only if you accept)

Where Google Analytics is active it may set _ga (2 years, distinguishes unique users), _gid (24 hours, session distinction) and _ga_[ID] (2 years, session state). These help us understand which pages are most useful so we can improve content. No personally identifiable information is collected.

Advertising cookies (only if you accept)

Where advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may set cookies such as IDE (Google, up to 1 year, ad targeting and measurement) and similar identifiers. These are only loaded when you accept cookies. See Google's Privacy & Terms.

Managing cookies

Analytics and advertising cookies are not loaded until you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Decline, only the essential cookie_consent preference cookie is set.

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings — in Chrome under Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies, in Firefox under Settings > Privacy & Security, and in Safari under Preferences > Privacy. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
